However, an opportunity to develop an innovation lab for a Fortune 500 company changed everything, and we put down solid roots in the U.S.

With 35+ years of experience, we’ve built a company that blends creativity with solid craftsmanship. From landscape design services that turn ideas into reality to softscaping services that bring color and life, every project is designed to fit the way you live.

Meet Paul Leahy – Founder of Ispini Landscapes

My name is Paul Leahy, and I’m the founder and owner of Ispini Landscapes. Originally from Cork, Ireland, my journey began with a degree in Art & Design in the mid-1980s, which led me into the family horticulture business. Over the years, I honed my creative skills across a wide range of design projects, from television productions to large-scale international events, including celebrity weddings. I’m proud to have represented Ireland on the world stage as an award-winning floristry designer.

In the early 2000s, I took what was meant to be a short career break to travel—but life had other plans. I took a role in sales and began a new professional chapter that spanned two decades, primarily in the insurance industry, in various leadership and innovation roles. Along the way, I met my amazing wife, settled in the UK, and welcomed our son in 2007.

In 2013, an opportunity brought us to the U.S. for a work project. What started as a two-year plan turned into something much more. I was given the chance to build an innovation lab for a Fortune 500 insurance company, and with that, we chose to make the U.S. our permanent home.

Despite the turns my career has taken, the passion for horticulture and design never left me. In 2019, I returned to my creative roots and founded Ispini Landscapes—a venture that has grown steadily ever since. Today, Ispini is a reflection of my lifelong love for landscape design, creativity, and craftsmanship.

In 2023, my family and I proudly became U.S. citizens. We now live in Medfield, where I enjoy cooking, golf, skiing, and—of course—working on my own yard.
